HELLO AGAIN!

It has been a while since I have been able to post anything to the blog. Time just slips away quicker and quicker everyday. Dealing with everyday life and trying to beat the "7:30" sign that the crazy lady at school holds up, which tells me that once again, I need to sign Emilee into school (I am almost positive her clock is wrong), has caused me not to have the extra time to get things done that I want to do. In saying all of that, I hope you enjoy the new pics that I have posted. The kiddos are growing like weeds. Can you believe that Andrew is about to be a year old on December 30th? This year, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be times to be thankful for all God has blessed me with. Only this year the blessings are two times greater than I could have ever imagined! Thank you God for my sweet babies, Emilee and Andrew! Your blessings pour down on me everyday even if we don't beat the "7:30" sign.

Pumpkin Patch 2009

Emilee's k-5 class got to go to the Pumpkin Patch this year for a field trip. The class had a great time. Emilee insisted that she have straight hair that day. As all of you know, it takes alot of time for me to get all of those curls straight. Emilee and Faith helped each other bag their pumpkin. Faith is Emilee's good friend in her class. Such sweet girls!

The Big Kenny

This man still has it going on. Not sure how old or how much plastic has been used but the voice is still there! We had the best time. Can't wait to see him again. You gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away, know when to run.....ha I love it!!!! Doug has not been to that many concerts and I am pretty sure this is not one he was just dying to see, however, nothing could have prepared him at the end when all the ladies ran to the stage just to get a little closer to Kenny. I looked back at him after I secured my spot at the front of the stage (although I did not have to walk very far, we did have front row seats)and his look was, What in the world are you doing.....have you lost your mind? I just turned around and kept singing with Kenny...Islands in the stream that is what we are....
I know, call me crazy, but it was fun!

Cheerleading Camp 2009

Emilee had a blast learning cheers and dancing with the cheerleaders. The funny thing is, they are the same cheers that we grew up doing!

A SIGH OF RELIEF

For me and I'm sure for other mothers out there, this had to be the longest day in history. I have taken for granted these past 5 years that I could just call daycare to check on my little girl. Today was a totally different story. School lets out at 1:45 and it seemed like that time would never come. On top of that, I had to allow the bus enough time to get back to daycare and unload before I could call to make sure my little one got on the bus and was safe at daycare. After that I had to wait until 5 before I could leave work..... I could not stand it anymore, I had to leave, I left at 4:45, ( I know, I am such a "rebel", not really). I could not get there fast enough, I wanted to be the first person she told how her day went. With much anticipation, I came through the front doors at daycare and walked as fast as I could to meet her outside on the playground. As she was playing in the dirt and rocks with those locks of curls as tight as they could be, she saw me and started running. The first thing she said was, "Mommy, today I went to big school and had fun", what a relief.....maybe "Big School" won't be so bad after all!

Little Mama

I can't forget to give little brother loving before I head off to my first day of school....

OFF TO THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

All grown up. Time flies by before you know it. One day you are walking her into daycare for the first time and the next you are dropping her off at the school door.

Sleepy Head

Rise and Shine, put your feet on the floor. It's time for the 1st day of "big school". There are those mornings when you just don't feel like getting up!!!! No matter what you do, you just can't get those eyes open.

"SCHOOL DAYS"

Today was a BIG day for Emilee and well, for all of us! Today was the 1st day of "BIG SCHOOL"

We had a great vacation this year. It has been a couple of years since we have had the time to go on one. The kids loved it. We went to Gatlinburg.
